My name is Eleonora Volpe and I am an Italian sustainable stylist and art director based in NYC.
I started out my career in fashion a few years ago as a PA and stylist assistant working on set in high fashion shoots and videos as well as NYFW runway shows for brands of the caliber of CK, Hugo Boss, Bulgari, DKNY, Nike and more.
I loved the creativity of the fashion industry but I felt like something was missing: I needed more purpose in what I was doing in order to create something useful and not only beautiful, that’s how I started to get more and more involved in eco friendly fashion.
WHY SUSTAINABLE?
Because - let’s face it - we live in crucial times and now it’s as important as ever to make the right choices and create positive changes in the world.
Let’s do this together, one step at a time!
I passionately collaborate with vintage and thrift stores as well as sustainable designers that come up with always new ways to go zero waste and save the Earth and i help creating quality contents for privates and brands.
Some of the highlights of my career in sustainable fashion so far are winning the runway show styling competition during the first edition of NY Refashion Week, getting interviewed about eco friendly fashion by NBC, founding a nonprofit about upcycling and creative waste reuse – The Society of Green Arts- and styling the runway show for sustainable FWBK 2020!
